Case studies
Dozens of organisations across food and drink, fintech, retail, professional services and beyond. Businesses at every stage – some starting their B Corp journey from scratch, others navigating recertification, building a net-zero strategy, or working out where to begin. One consistent outcome: organisations that are certified, credible, and equipped with the confidence and capability to lead on sustainability long after we've left. And with 100% client satisfaction since 2018, we'll let the work speak for itself.
Some of our client success stories:
B Corp Certification: Bruichladdich Distillery
Distilling clarity and climate capability
Bruichladdich came to us facing two challenges at once: decoding the significant step-up of B Corp's new V2.1 standard ahead of recertification, and building genuine climate literacy across a workforce spread from the bottling hall to the boardroom. We delivered a prioritised recertification roadmap and ran Climate Fresk workshops for 30 employees across Islay and Glasgow – then trained two of their own people to run the programme themselves. They came to us for clarity. They left with the capability to lead it without us.

B Corp Certification: Nobody's Child
Where Conscious Style Meets Purpose
Nobody's Child didn't just want B Corp certification – they wanted the work to connect across their entire operation. We mapped their value chain, built an Environmental Management System aligned with ISO14001, and worked through their supply chain from hotspot analysis to supplier data. Certification achieved – and along the way, practical operational wins: water leaks identified at store locations, waste reduction tracked, and a head office relocation planned with energy efficiency built in from the start. The kind of results that only emerge when you do the work properly.

Human Rights & Environmental Impact Assessments: MOJU
A shot of strategic impact
Already a certified B Corp and growing fast, MOJU wanted to move from instinct to evidence – replacing hunches about their value chain impacts with science and stakeholder-backed data. We mapped their human rights risks from farm to fridge, assessed their environmental impacts across the full supply chain, and took the findings directly to senior leadership. The outcome: a clear, prioritised view of what actually matters, a practical action plan, and a leadership team that now knows exactly where to focus. Less guesswork. More confidence.

Long term impact partnership: giffgaff
Impact calling!
giffgaff's lean impact team had ambitious goals and not enough hours in the day. Since 2021, Greenheart has operated as an embedded extension of that team – delivering B Corp certification and recertification, value chain mapping, materiality assessments, ESG integration workshops, and annual Impact Report development. Most recently, preparing for the step-up of B Corp v2.1. The result: a consistently high-performing impact programme that doesn't depend on growing the headcount to deliver it.

Resilient Business Strategy: Noble Foods
A good egg
Noble Foods is the UK's leading vertically integrated egg business – farms, packing centres, feed mills and processors, spread across the country. Decarbonising an operation of that scale, across environment, people and animals, while building toward B Corp certification, isn't a single project. It's a programme. Since becoming Noble Foods' integrated impact partner, Greenheart has built their impact strategy from the ground up: 2030 goals, public commitments, governance structures, GHG site action plans, water stewardship strategy, supplier risk assessment, and TNFD materiality assessment. The supplier risk assessment alone was adopted across every business unit – turning a single piece of work into a company-wide standard.

B Corp Certification: Little Moons
Mochi with a mission
Little Moons had bold ambitions, rapid growth, and a sustainability journey that needed to keep pace with both. Over three years, Greenheart worked alongside the business through major operational shifts – using the B Corp framework as a strategic backbone, building internal capability from scratch, and supporting the launch of their first-ever Impact Report. In December 2024, Little Moons became B Corp certified. And then they asked us to stay.

Materiality Assessment: Lucky Saint
Low alcohol, plenty of impact
Lucky Saint had already run a double materiality assessment – but the standards had moved on and they wanted to move with them. More than an updated assessment, they wanted their team to own the process going forward. Greenheart guided them through a rigorous DMA aligned with current global best practice: value chain mapping, enhanced stakeholder engagement, and a scoring matrix covering both impact and financial materiality. The outcome: a clear strategic foundation, a team equipped to run the process independently – and a summary report their board and investors can actually use.

Firing Up Awareness on Greenwashing
Green Claims Integrity: Ooni
Creator and global leader of the home pizza oven market, Ooni, partnered with Greenheart to navigate the complex landscape of international green claims legislation, upskilling their marketing team to ensure transparent and compliant communication.
In an era where "greenwashing" casts a long shadow, and regulations around sustainability claims are tightening globally, forward-thinking companies like Ooni are taking proactive steps. Renowned for their revolutionary pizza ovens and with a global footprint, Ooni recognised the critical need to ensure their environmental communications were not only impactful but also impeccably compliant across diverse international territories. The challenge was clear: how to effectively manage the ever-present risk of misinterpretation and ensure all green claims were transparent, substantiated, and consistent with varying local legislation.
Greenheart worked alongside Ooni’s internal experts to demystify this complex arena. Our collaboration focused on two core objectives: first, to provide Ooni with a clear and current understanding of green claims legislation in their key markets, and second, to empower their marketing team with the foundational knowledge to ensure they had the necessary background and evidence to justify all their green claims.
We began by updating and enhancing Ooni’s existing legislation tracker, incorporating the latest regulations and crucial guidance from various international markets. This wasn't just about a list of laws; it was about understanding the nuances and expectations within each region. Building on this, we co-created a bespoke training program for Ooni’s marketing team. This engaging training distilled the core principles of making legitimate green claims. Crucially, it also highlighted the common themes in legislation across markets while clearly delineating the critical differences, equipping the team to tailor their communications effectively and confidently.
This strategic initiative has enabled Ooni to stay ahead of the curve, significantly strengthening its ability to manage regulatory risks associated with green claims. Their marketing team is now better equipped with the essential knowledge to confidently and accurately communicate their sustainability efforts, protecting their brand integrity and reinforcing consumer trust as they continue to grow globally.

A journey in GHG Accounting and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
Climate Action: Whitefox Technologies
How Greenheart supported Whitefox in understanding its Greenhouse Gas footprint, exploring Life Cycle Assessments, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance sustainability and reduce negative impact.
Developing technology that increases efficiency of ethanol production, Greenheart has been working with Whitefox Technologies to demonstrate its positive impact and manage any negative impacts. This has involved supporting its team to firstly understand its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) footprint and secondly to introduce the concept of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and its different uses, including how it can be used to demonstrate the benefits of the Whitefox technology and catalyse progress on improvement.
Being an engaged and data driven team, Whitefox wanted support from Greenheart to calculate its own GHG emissions. The Whitefox team wanted to take ownership for this work and better understand the data and calculations whilst still receiving reassurance and expert advice from Greenheart during the process.
Through the use of Carbon Alt Delete, our chosen GHG accounting platform, we supported the team at Whitefox through data collection, set up, methodology, calculations and quality assessment. The results of which are a complete GHG footprint that they are confident to communicate to a wider audience and take ownership of. The business has confidence in the methodology and standards used to conduct the footprint, as well as having the opportunity to improve data quality and calculation methodology based on Greenheart’s learned experiences.
The Greenheart team is also supporting Whitefox as it begins to explore conducting an LCA, delivering training sessions on the concepts, process and methodologies. The outcome being an enhanced understanding of its technology through LCA, where emission hotspots lie and a starting point to begin supplier engagement to reduce impact in its supply chain.

ESG Compliance: Ebury
Helping a fast-growing global fintech to understand its ESG compliance, reporting and disclosure requirements
Ebury, a fast-growing fintech company, needed to understand its ESG compliance, reporting and disclosure requirements - both current and future - as it continues its international expansion. We supported Ebury by completing a horizon scan of ESG legislation in its operating markets, highlighting compliance risks, and identifying next steps to build towards compliance.
Our review and report clearly identified where Ebury should focus its efforts in a world of increasingly complex ESG legislation.

Art of Decarbonisation: Crafting a Sustainable Future
The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (CGF) is an international foundation promoting the development of individuals and organisations through art, science, education and charity, for a more equitable and sustainable society.
Together, Greenheart and CGF’s UK Branch have collaborated on understanding decarbonisation options within the non-profit sector. Utilising the experience from both organisations ensured the work completed provided the UK Branch with the knowledge to understand its emissions, the implications of target setting and options to decarbonise to achieve targets for the London based operation.
The process followed, provided the UK Branch with a baseline of GHG emissions and target setting options, as well as a climate action plan, which listed practical decarbonisation actions for the client. This involved having clear responsibilities around each action, including preliminary tasks required, budget indication and set timeframes and progress feedback loops.

B Corp Certification: Future Business Partnership
Supporting an impact investor to make impactful investment decisions
The Future Business Partnership (FBP) is an impact-driven private equity investment firm focusing in the consumer sector. This means that they are at the forefront of driving the transition to low carbon, resource efficient and socially positive household consumption. They asked Greenheart to support them in their due diligence process for their investment into Big Green Smile (BGS), an established and growing e-commerce platform specialising in home care and personal care essentials. Our social and environmental assessment provided expert input into the final decision to proceed with the investment in 2023.
Once the investment was complete, we supported BGS through their B Corp journey as well as enhancing their already strong impact culture with a full carbon footprint and net zero strategy, a materiality assessment and we worked alongside the BGS team to implement volunteering commitments and other social impact programme.
At the same time as working with BGS, we continued to support FBP on their own B Corp journey…who only went and certified with a whopping 173.9 points (we don’t like putting labels on things, but that made them the highest scoring B Corp in the UK!)
A truly full circle journey, with Greenheart helping along every step of the way.

Climate Action: MPM Products
Enabling lower emission global pet food transportation
As a global pet food distributor with a complex logistics and freight operation, it was critical for MPM Products to be able to measure and reduce the carbon emissions of its shipping and distribution network. With our expert team and MPM’s Logistics team embarked on a transformative journey to develop an interactive carbon measurement matrix. This powerful tool will empower MPM to systemically optimise carbon emissions on a route-specific basis.
This involved mapping out their global logistics operations and data was broken down by journey type, product type and per production facility by exact routes traveled. Local emission factors and actual amounts of product were used so the calculations were as accurate as possible. A key outcome was the ability to highlight focus areas with suppliers enabling further emission reductions. The data matrix was created in such a way that the data can be presented in an easy to understand format enabling it to be shared with internal stakeholders to aid informed decision making.
The MPM team were involved in every step of the process so now have the skills and knowledge to take ownership of the bespoke calculator, keeping data up to date and using the tracker to inform key decisions regarding opportunities to reduce their carbon emissions and run scenarios to determine the carbon impact of proposed changes to shipping routes. This synergy between MPM Products and our collaborative team ensures a sustainable future in which carbon emissions are managed effectively, aligning with both environmental and business objectives.

From GOOD to Great
B Corp Certification: GOOD Agency
Evidencing impact with the UK’s highest scoring B Corp creative agency
GOOD agency is a purpose-driven strategy and creative agency using the brilliant creative and communication skills of its team to create positive social and environmental change.
As an already employer-owned business with a clear passion for using business for good, striving to become a B Corp was a natural step. They weren’t however satisfied at simply getting to the required 80 points. They wanted to push themselves as hard and as far as possible, whilst being able to accurately evidence all of the excellent practices that had been implemented and that’s where Greenheart came in.
We worked with the GOOD leadership team, coaching and supporting them with all aspects of impact advice to ensure that they learnt and adopted all the most relevant aspects of the B Corp framework. The speed and efficiency of the process was significantly aided by this close working relationship with the senior team. Initiatives were driven from the top of the organisation meaning their priority to the business was clear and fully understood.
This level of ambition was recognised when they certified as the UK’s highest scoring creative agency with a rare three Impact Business Models.

Redefining value chain relationships to create positive impact
This project was all about creating an impact ‘ripple effect’ by aligning the client’s supply partners with its own impact journey. Working closely with the buying team, we identified the businesses’ key areas of social and environmental concern. We then co-created policies, data gathering and engagement tools to enable collaborative value chain ESG improvement.

Climate Action: The Body Shop
Developing a comprehensive environmental management system for global beauty retailer
The Body Shop needs no introduction and their commitment to environmental and ethical standards is well known. Like any global business though, their ambitious environmental targets have to be underpinned by robust and usable data. As part of their ongoing partnership with Greenheart, we worked together to build a B Corp and ISO14001 aligned Environmental Management System (EMS) to be used across their worldwide business. This included the collection and cleansing of global data sets, analysis and application of global carbon emission factors and adjusting the modelling to take account of local factors.
The end result was a complete EMS supported by implementation and governance tools such as operating procedures, an employee user manual, global waste and water audit templates, landlord surveys to help local collection of data, a global waste strategy and regional targets and improvement objectives and targets.
The wider benefits of this project are that it increased understanding of the value that a high-quality EMS can bring and how it supports their culture of continual improvement and their commitment to ongoing sustainability targets.
By presenting information and insights in a visual format which is easy to understand, we were able to more effectively engage stakeholders from around the world in the implementation of the EMS. This ensures that improvement ideas are funnelled into a central place so that actions can be shared as good practice or prioritised as focus areas allowing The Body Shop to have global visibility of environmental performance and opportunities for improvement.
